December 05, 2018 Announcement
Lakshya Sen won his fourth International Men's Singles title by beating his arch rival and twice Junior World Champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand in straight games 21-15, 21-10. Last year, he had narrowly lost in the finals of the TATA open to another Thai Thamassin Sitikom. Lakshya, who had lost to Kunlavut in the semis of the Junior World Championship in Markham, Canada last month, extracted revenge on his talented rival, nailing him in straight games this time. Lakshya also has two India International Series titles (2016 & 2017) and the 2017 Bulgarian Open title to his name in the senior category apart from the Gold he won in the Junior Asian Championships this year. Lakshya will turn his focus fully to the Senior Circuit from now on.
